Procymidone 50% WP is a protective and curative fungicide known for its effectiveness against a variety of fungal diseases. It works by inhibiting the fungal cell membrane function, thereby stopping the growth and spread of the fungus. This mechanism ensures that the disease is not only prevented but also controlled if already present.
Procymidone is particularly effective against diseases such as gray mold (Botrytis), sclerotinia, and leaf spot, making it an excellent choice for crops like fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. Its residual activity provides prolonged protection, even under challenging conditions.
For application, Procymidone 50% WP should be used as a foliar spray. The recommended dosage ranges from 500 to 1000 grams per hectare, depending on the crop and the severity of the disease.
