Mite Control for Plant Protection
Buprofezin is a powerful ovicidal and larvicidal agent against various plant mites. While it is ineffective against adult mites, it inhibits the hatching of eggs laid by females that come into contact with the pesticide. It is particularly effective against spider mites but less effective against rust and gall mites. Buprofezin can be mixed with other pesticides, such as Bordeaux mixture and lime sulfur, for enhanced pest control.
400 g/l buprofezin Application and Benefits
400 g/l buprofezin primarily works through contact action and has good penetration into plant tissues without systemic absorption. For controlling apple red spider mites, apply Buprofezin when the larvae are most active, typically when there are 3-4 mites per leaf. Use a 5% emulsifiable concentrate or 5% wettable powder diluted 1500-2000 times and spray. Cease application 7 days before harvest to ensure safety.
