Liquid deltamethrin insecticide
Liquid deltamethrin is the most potent pyrethroid insecticide, boasting toxicity levels 100 times higher than DDT, 80 times higher than Sevin, 550 times higher than Malathion, and 40 times higher than Parathion. It acts through contact and stomach poisoning, delivering rapid knockdown effects without fumigation or systemic action. At high concentrations, it also exhibits repellent properties against some pests, with a long residual period of 7-12 days.
The Effect Of Deltamethrin
Formulated as emulsifiable concentrate or wettable powder, deltamethrin is a moderate insecticide with a broad spectrum of activity. It effectively controls pests in Lepidoptera, Orthoptera, Thysanoptera, Hemiptera, Diptera, and Coleoptera. However, it has low or no efficacy against mites, scale insects, and plant bugs, and can even stimulate mite reproduction. In cases of concurrent pest and mite infestations, deltamethrin should be used in combination with specialized miticides for optimal results.
